Mickey Dolenz and The Legends continue SM2009
Mickey Dolenz and The Legends wrapped up the three day concert series at the "big stage." With absolutely perfect weather and a beautiful atmosphere, the temporary stage area in Ashland's Central Park was host to the first three days of exciting concerts for Summer Motion 2009.

With perfect weather on tap and a field of green open space in Ashland's Central Park, Summer Motion 2009 kicked off in fine fashion by CMA New Artist of the year, Jake Owen, and up and coming trio of Savannah Jack.

OCW Wrestling
Summer will present Ohio Championship Wrestling (OCW) professional wrestling on Saturday, July 4 in Ashland's Central Park!
Bid for Kids' Sake
An auction, Bid For Kids’ Sake, will take place Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Bellefonte Country Club. This auction benefits the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Tri-State.
Colgate Country Showdown
WTCR will host the semi-final round of the 28th annual Colgate Country Showdown Sunday, July 5th from 11am-2pm at Ashland’s Central Park during Summer Motion.
Breakfast Kiwanis Food Drive
The Breakfast Kiwanis will sponsor a food drive at Summer Motion on Friday July 3rd from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The items collected will be given to River Cities Harvest. Be sure to bring a few non-perishable food items to help those in need.
Some Gave All
Some Gave All is a 1,100 mile, 10 town hall stop, 5 day motorcycle rally across the state of Kentucky, paying tribute to Kentucky's Fallen Warriors who paid the ultimate price for freedom. www.somegaveallky.com

Motorcycle Show
Presented by Summer Motion, the Motorcycle Show will take place Sunday, July 5, 2009 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Central Park.

Free Concerts Rock the Park
This year's Concert Series features a little bit of country, and a little of rock and roll. Concerts will be held at Central Park on the soccer field near 21st Street and Central Avenue, beginning at 8:00 p.m. and, as always, admission is free. Beauty Pageant
The Tri-State's most beautiful girls compete to be crowned Miss Summer Motion. Applications are available online or they may be picked up at: Lara's in Ashland Angie's; in Catlettsburg Rose Tree; or in Ceredo Ashland Town Center Mall Information Desk.
Summer Motion 10K: a Tri-State Tradition
The Summer Motion 10K takes place on a USATF to certified 6.2 mile course that travels through downtown Ashland and a bridge across the Ohio River. The race begins and ends between 17th and 18th streets on Central Avenue (in front of Park Place, formerly the American Electric Power building).
